Pohang won the first meeting between the two sides this term and did so in dramatic fashion with Brazilian striker Zeca heading home in the 99th minute. Last season, though, Jeonbuk won two matches and Pohang one with one draw. Over the last 10 encounters, Jeonbuk have five wins to Pohang's four and just one draw.
Team of the Round
Daegu FC (vs. Incheon United, Sat. 27th May - 19:00)
Daegu FC are up to sixth in the table following back-to-back wins and just one loss in five. Their most recent win came away to Daejeon Hana Citizen with winger Go Jae-hyeon scoring the game's only goal in first-half stoppage time. Before that, Daegu overcame Gwangju FC 2-0 in the second Moonlight Derby of the campaign. Such form now means that Daegu are only four points away from second place in the table. Daegu have shown particular prowess in how many headed shots they attempt and sit second in the league in that regard with 33. Edgar Bruno accounts for 16 of them, the most in the division. The Brazilian star has three goals for the campaign plus one assist while Go Jae-hyeon is the club's top scorer this season with five. Up next for Daegu is the visit of Incheon United this Saturday. When the two sides met earlier in the campaign the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
Player of the Round
Martin Ádám, Ulsan Hyundai (vs. Daejeon Hana Citizen, Sun. 28th May - 19:00)

After managing just one goal from his first six appearances of the season, Ulsan Hyundai striker Martin Ádám is now two in two. The Hungary international scored in both of the Horangi's last two matches, and both were 3-2 wins. The most recent goal was the match-winner having converted a late penalty against Suwon Bluewings to put Ulsan's noses back in front late on. Three goals for the season doesn't quite tell the whole story for Martin Ádám who has been accurate in front of goal with 42% of shots finding the target. Take away the three goals he has scored this season and Ulsan would have six fewer points. Last year, a Martin Ádám-less Ulsan would have had 10 points worse off with the powerful striker making the difference in turning potential draws and even defeats into wins with his goals. Up next for Martin Ádám and Ulsan is the visit of Daejeon Hana Citizen. Ulsan lost to Daejeon when the two teams met earlier in the campaign and so Hong Myung-bo and his men will be itching to put the record straight.
Elsewhere in K League 1 Round 15
Jeju United take on Suwon Samsung Bluewings this Saturday with both teams having picked up FA Cup wins in midweek. Jeju overcame Daejeon 4-3 to make it seven unbeaten with six wins in all competitions. The Islanders, sitting third, know that a win could move them up to second with FC Seoul not in action until Sunday. But Nam Ki-il's men take on a Suwon Bluewings side that knocked Daegu FC out of the FA Cup in midweek. A win for the Bluewings would move them level on points with Gangwon FC in 11th.
On Sunday afternoon, FC Seoul take on Gangwon FC looking for a first win in three. Last time out, Seoul drew 1-1 with Jeju and in the previous round, lost 3-2 to Ulsan. The capital club take on a Gangwon FC side, though, that has lost its last three from five and is without a win in four in the league. Managed by former FC Seoul boss Choi Yong-soo, Gangwon were able to win in midweek - knocking Gimpo FC out of the FA Cup thanks to a late Galego strike to make it 3-2.
Suwon FC versus Gwangju FC on Sunday evening, meanwhile, is a fixture between two teams sitting in the lower reaches of the table that are looking to get their seasons back on track. Suwon are on a run of three straight losses while Gwangju are without a win in five. Both teams are locked on 15 points, just one point above the first relegation playoff place but a win could move them up to seventh and within touching distance of the top half.
