For Daejeon Hana Citizen's first season back in K League 1 the theme of the new kit is "Light of Hana". The kits also incorporate lots of imagery and symbolism from the city of Daejeon itself, such as Expo Bridge and Expo Tower.

Pohang Steelers celebrate their 50th anniversary this year and so have released a special third kit in orange that harks back to the club's earlier years. The theme overall, though, is 'The era of ORANGE GOLD.'
The theme for FC Seoul's new kits is "1983 Heritage" as the club is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

The concept for Suwon Samsung Bluewings' new kits is "with the people" and with the supporters' wishes.
