Last season, Gyeongnam got the better of Anyang once at home and once away by a single goal margin while Anyang tasted victory in Changwon on 2021's opening round. The most recent encounter between the two sides saw them both play out a goalless draw in Anyang.
Team of the Round
Gimpo FC

It may still be very early into their first K League campaign but Gimpo sit atop of the table with two wins out of two, both acquired away from home with one being against last year's relegated side Gwangju FC, while their second was against reigning FA Cup holders Jeonnam Dragons. These are two teams perhaps expected to be pushing for promotion yet the newcomers have brushed them aside in entertaining fashion.
23-year-old Gimpo forward Son Jeok-yong has also scored the opener in each of Gimpo's two matches as he continues to make the adjustment from the third tier look easy. Last season, Son featured heavily in Gimpo's K3 League title run last season, scoring eight for the campaign and will be hoping to keep it up this season.
In Bucheon FC 1995, Gimpo face a team that struggled at times last season, ultimately finishing 10th. The Reds have started well this campaign with four points from their matches with Chungnam Asan and Ansan Greeners but are yet to be truly tested by those who have been tipped early for promotion.
Player of the Round
Felipe Cadenazzi, Seoul E-Land (Vs. Ansan Greeners)
Felipe Cadenazzi may have only made a fourteen-minute cameo in Round 1 for Seoul E-Land, but what an appearance it was! With the game heading for a goalless stalemate, the Argentinian forward was introduced to play in the 76th minute, rose above the Gyeongnam defence and headed in the cross from Kim Jeong-hwan to secure all three points for the Leopards.
Cadenazzi made the move to Seoul late in the transfer window, switching from Argentine outfit Alvardo where he had previously bagged 11 goals in 25 appearances for the 2021 season.
With Seoul E-Land having had last week off, Cadenazzi has now had more time to acclimatise to his new surroundings and work more with his teammates on the training pitch. With Ansan Greeners still yet to taste victory this season or keep a clean sheet, the 30-year-old may feel he can continue his positive start to life at Seoul on Saturday afternoon.
