More action coming up this weekend as K League 2 reaches Round 12. The two newcomers collide with each looking to get their seasons truly up and running, Seongnam FC take on Gimcheon Sangmu, while Ansan Greeners leading scorer Gabriel will be looking to add to his tally when the Green Warriors face Gyeongnam FC.

The two newcomers to K League 2 meet this Saturday for what will be their first encounter since making the transition into the professional game. Chungbuk Cheongju host Cheonan City with both teams looking to climb away from the foot of the table. Saturday's hosts Chungbuk Cheongju have begun life in K League 2 the brighter of the two having picked up one win and three draws from their first 10 matches. Cheonan, though, have just one point to show for their efforts so far - that coming in a 1-1 draw at home to Ansan Greeners three rounds ago. Both, though, will see this Saturday's match as one that's winnable and the perfect place to get their seasons properly up and running.
Looking at the two teams head-to-head this season, Chungbuk have had more shots in total with 105 to Cheonan's 81. More have hit the target, too, with 38 compared to 26. In terms of individuals, Jorge and Paulinho have both registered 19 shots for Chungbuk Cheongju, and Peter Makrillos is third with 14. Paulinho has been the most accurate with nine finding the target while Jorge and Makrillos are on six. For Cheonan, Bruno Motta leads the team for total shots with 15, followed by Yun Yong-ho with 10 and Axel Bakayoko with nine. Motta's seven shots on target is the most at Cheonan while Yun Yong-ho is second with four.
The teams have met six times in total with Cheonan City winning all six, scoring six, and conceding just one. Last year, Cheonan recorded 1-0 and 4-0 wins over their Chungcheong Province rivals.

Seongnam FC (vs. Gimcheon Sangmu, Sun. 7th May - 18:30)
Seongnam FC were away to the league leaders in midweek but picked up a point and a cleansheet. The Magpies drew 0-0 to this season's early pace-setters Gimpo FC to make it two unbeaten and one defeat in five. A brace from Lee Jong-ho in the previous round earned a 2-1 victory away to Seoul E-Land. Key for Seongnam so far this term have been Kim Jin-rae and Sim Dong-woon who both have three assists, the second-most in the division, and Lee Jong-ho who has four goals to sit joint-third in the scoring charts. Up next for Seongnam is the visit of Gimcheon on Sunday.
Player of the Round
Gabriel Honório, Ansan Greeners (vs. Gyeongnam FC, Sat. 6th May - 13:30)
Gabriel Honório, who joined Ansan Greeners this season, is the Green Wolves' leading scorer with three goals. His latest came in midweek in the Round 11 home loss to Gimcheon Sangmu, in the 82nd minute to make it 3-2 and give Ansan some hope of a comeback. The 26-year-old had a say in Ansan's other goal of the night, too, providing the assist for Kim Beom-soo five minutes before. Overall, with two assists and three goals, Gabriel now has five goal contributions for the campaign, by far the most productive of Ansan's attacking players. He sits second for successful dribbles with 12, has 11 key passes, and has made 11 crosses to sit in the top nine in that regard. This Saturday, Ansan and Gabriel take on Gyeongnam FC, a side that will be looking to bounce back from the midweek loss to Seoul E-Land.
