Recent Form
Seoul E-Land head into Thursday's clash on the back of an emphatic 6-0 home win over Ansan Greeners, making it four wins from five and unbeaten in 10. The match saw six different scorers find the back of the net: John Iredale, Kim Oh-gyu, Euller, Osmar Ibanez, Kim Ha-jun, and Byeon Kyung-jun. The Leopards have also kept clean sheets in each of their last three matches, and conceded only four goals during their 10-match unbeaten run.
Seongnam, meanwhile, sealed their place in the playoffs on the final day of the season, beating Busan 2-1. The Magpies had to come back from behind to earn the win, with Choi Gi-yun opening the scoring for the Royals just seven minutes in, before Kim Jung-hwan levelled three minutes later, followed by a Cho Wi-je own goal eight minutes from time. It was Seongnam's fifth win in a row, and with just two goals conceded in their last six.
Head-to-Head
This season, Seoul E-Land have come out on top on two occasions from the three meetings, with Seongnam winning the other. That Seongnam win came in Mokdong, with all three matches seeing the away side emerge victorious.
Overall, from 17 meetings between the two teams, Seoul E-Land have won seven, Seongnam four, with six draws.
Key Players
Euller, Seoul E-Land
Brazilian attacking midfielder Euller, a nominee for league MVP, has enjoyed a sensational start to life with Seoul E-Land, registering 12 goals and 11 assists across 37 appearances. The diminutive Brazilian may well have had more assists than just 11, having racked up 66 key passes in the regular season, the joint-most, and 32 shots on target to rank seventh in the league will mean Seongnam goalkeeper Yang Han-bin will have to be alert, particularly as 54 of his 84 shots have come from outside the box - the most in K League 2.
Shin Jae-won, Seongnam FC
With nine assists this season, Shin Jae-won has had a career year. He's a player reinvented as a right back and has been a key driving force for Seongnam in their incredible comeback run. Seongnam fell out of the top five in Round 6 and only returned once before the final day, in Round 30. The Magpies' incredible run has been helped by key assists from Shin in big moments. He assisted the winner in the Round 16 away win over Chungbuk Cheongju, recorded assists in three straight games from Round 21 to 23, helping Seongnam pick up seven points, and even got the assist in the 1-0 win away to Seoul E-Land.
